Last year alone over thirty thousand women were expected to die from breast cancer alone. Deaths due t breast cancer are only second to the number of deaths due to lung cancer. We are at the same place as we were two decades, with no cure in sight. We still have no exact clue about the causes and methods of preventions. To put the cherry on top the breast cancer society industry, also known as the pink parade has been recently plagued with gold miner who are in it for the money.

Some of them solely exist for serving their executives who draw huge salaries. Some are fronts for other business, which advertise their products by jumping the pink ribbon band wagon. Now days you see that for higher sales, every brand, has a shade of pink. 

It’s a tactic to lure people in with the pink fever. As people generally tend to buy items that support this specific cause. There may be nothing wrong with that but then most of such schemes are either designed in such a way that nothing or very little is effectively allotted to institutes who are at the forefront of this battle. And most of the money is wasted on events and staff. A lot of it is downright usurped by the founders of the charities.
